Fragrance Wishlist

Olà a todos ( Hello everyone),

My dream is to have a really good fragrance collection that fits me. I don’t want something extremely massive but I do desire a good amount that I can count on during special occasions, seasons, and everyday use.

I always had an interest in perfume and it’s one of my favorite beauty subjects to read about or watch a video on YouTube about. However, I am no expert in the world of fragrance. I do not know the genius who craft the fragrance and what country that person created the bottle vessel. I just know what I like or what I like to try. Got it!

What I have listed below are fragrances that I have sampled but have not got the full bottle and some are fragrances I like to try based on what I have read about or reviewed on YouTube.

Let’s get it started.

First, I will like to acknowledge that I have sampled both of these fragrances. Now, I normally gravitate towards warmer, earthy, and fresh fragrances. I wanted to get into floral scents but in the past, I have had a complex time finding one that works. I can’t say that for Delina. Delina does the bawdy good. Lol! Even though Delina Exclusif by Parfums de Marly has musk and incense notes, it still gives off that fruitiness but it still stays true to the floral notes. Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford starts smokey yet strong but as time flows by it smelled sensual and sweet to me. Seductive! Great for the fall and wintertime.

I put Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte by Maison Francis Kurkdjian because I love the bottle and the notes really spoke to me. The Blackcurrant and Jasmine along with the scent of Mimosa sound so delightful yet crisp. This fragrance sounds like it will perform great during the day in the Spring or Summer season. I look forward to trying this soon.

Now, the next fragrances have been all over YouTube and social media for some time. If you have not heard of Gypsy Water, you have been living under a rock. Sorry to tell ya! I sampled Gypsy Water by Byredo from Lucky Scents on my birthday, and I just knew that it was for me when I first sprayed it on my skin. PERIOD! It has my favorite two notes which are Vanilla and Amber in there plus it’s earthy. I wasn’t expecting to love it because Gypsy was “That Girl.” She was getting cocky out there in the YouTube and Fashion blogs streets. Anyways, I look forward to getting the full bottle.

Twilly d’Hermes by Hermes has been added to my wishlist because it has been a fragrance I want to try and I love the notes as well as the bottle. I have watched a lot of reviews on Twilly and people have spoken really highly of Twilly. It’s marketed toward women but from what I have gathered, it leans towards unisex. Goodness! I am ready to try this.

My first introduction to BDK parfum was from watching either Brooklyn Fragrance Lover (RIP Angel), Tiff Benson, or Karina Waldon review it on their channel. One that drew my attention was the Gris Charnel by BDK Parfums because initially, I thought it would be floral but it’s actually an amber spicy scent. If you get a chance PLEASE read their parfum descriptions on their site. Talking about giving inspiration, honey. I like the packaging and I do admire the notes listed above. I don’t know if I have ever smelled Iris before so I am definitely intrigued by this fragrance.

I sampled Eleventh Hour by Byredo and I instantly loved how it opened up for me on the first spray. I instantly smelled the tonka bean and fig but after I got the rum as well as the bergamot once it settles in. I just enjoy the simplicity of this brand. I feel like this can be worn every day as a signature scent but it may perform well Fall and Winter seasons.

The packaging of KierinNYC fragrances screams New York for sure. It’s simple but it’s also busy like New York City. I was definitely drawn to the name of this fragrance because who doesn’t love a Sunday Brunch? Based on the notes of Sunday Brunch by Kierin NYC, I thought that they captured a Sunday Brunch in an amazing manner. Definitely giving Spring/Summer daytime wear after an event and you are on your way to…Brunch!

I look forward to trying this fragrance as well as Female Chris by 19-69. Once again, the name got to me because I mean, come on. Female Christ! Before I took a look at the notes, I knew that it was going to be in the earthy and woody family which I was right. I like that even though it is called Female Christ, it is unisex. I have never smelled a fragrance that has cinnamon and rhubarb in it. I am definitely going to sample before investment but I do hope that this smells good.

Now, this last fragrance is said to be Rihanna’s go-to fragrance. Now everyone who has met the great Sis has stated that she smells fantastic. It is because a nosy person found out that she wears Love Don’t Be Shy by Killian. Who doesn’t want to smell like THE Robyn Rihanna Fenty? The Queen. I have heard that this fragrance will make you smell like a snack. When I heard that, I said that I was down to smell like a snack. Based on the notes, it sounds like it smells sweet and floral but not teenage sweet if you know what I mean. Listen, I am here for trying this out also.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my list. I was going to do honorable mentions but I actually want to do a part two. I look forward to investing in these fragrances and giving a more in-depth review of each one.

Hope you have a fantastic day
